The Walt Disney Company has continued establishing and delivering exceptional entertainment experiences for the society for over four generations. It has relatively met the tastes and interests for all categories of people. The shareholders of the organization impose as much effect on the way the business operates. Relatively, their decisions define the path of development that the business takes into account. Walt Disney Company had a strong foundation in the leadership of its founder, Walt Disney, who ventured the animation work in the year 1919. Other leaders took up with the earlier laid strategy and ensured the present success of the company. Professionals have been a source of great ideas for the company’s success. They have advised the company on several occasions. For instance, the company made prudent moves to buy property including land, other companies, Internet Protocols, TV channels and ships amongst others under the influence of able leadership and advice from professionals. Eisner as the CEO oversaw the implementation of a bold strategy targeting Walt Disney Studios including ESPN, ABC, Anaheim Angels, Miramax Films and Family Channel acquisitions.

The leadership under continued discussions with employees came up with diversification in 2012. The company has diversified into theme parks, hotels and resorts, cable networks, cruise ships, television station operations, television production, animated motion pictures and live action. These enriched the company greatly and made tremendous improvements to the business. Media watchdogs have helped in advertising the business to the extent that it is now global. Media have helped in publishing reports about the company’s products and performance. The company enjoys its brand of advertisements through its numerous TV channels and internet sites.

Overall, the shareholders see to it that the demands of the people and the desires of the market are responded to accordingly. Most often than not, it could be observed that these demands shape the decisions of the shareholders especially when it comes to improving the options of operation that the business is about.
