Waverly Gunter’s Brag, Essay Example

With America’s struggling economy and with the uncertainties in the job market, it is vital for students to work hard to distinguish themselves from the rest. My name is Waverly Gunter and I have accomplished this goal so far. I have a number of different additional goals and aspirations for myself and I believe that your organization can help me accomplish that. My primary interest is to attend a four year university in order to obtain a career in the fashion marketing and visual communications. I am pleased to have already achieved a number of different accomplishments during my academic career as well as though extracurricular activities. For two consecutive years, I have placed 2^nd in regional cheerleading competitions. I have won various awards for my participation in National American Miss Pageantry. Most importantly, I have been able to accomplish my goals in cheerleading, athleticism and pageantry, all while maintaining my position on the Honor Roll. In 2009, I was even able to maintain employment as an administrative assistant while continuing my success academically and in other areas. Recently, I was accepted into the John Casablanca’s Modeling and Acting Agency as a result of my fashionable and aesthetic presentation. As you can see, I can be an asset to colleges, employers and to the community. I believe that after careful review of my credentials, you feel the same way, too.
