Introduction

Weenen General Contracting Limited began its operations in 1962 and with time, it will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. Since then it has indulged in High End Residential Renovation, designing and remodeling activities. Mr. Weenen is the rightful owner of Weenen General Contracting who also ensures that the company operates accordingly. The company operates as a private Renovation Firm.  The company has assured its customers of its competency by stating that it is an exceptional and commendable construction firm, which aims at meeting the needs of its customers. The company acknowledges its customers as the most important facet as they enhance its success. Therefore, to ensure that they do not lose hold of these customers, they offer reliable quality services. The company carries out its operations in Forest Hill, Rosedale, Moore Park, Lea side and Cabbage town.

The company gains a lot of recognition and appreciation from its original client base such that the children of this original client base have adopted its value. The children are more confident in this company because they have to know the company in and out hence; assessing its function and dismissing it from all facets related to risks. However, the company has proven to be very rewarding to its clients. Actually, the company has also gained appraisal from the very many distracting clients. This is because they have also come to gain confidence in the company due to its exceptional and quality services (GBM700 Company Profile).

History

The company’s history is very intriguing and captivating. However, just like the mustard seed, the company begins from very humble beginnings. Subsequently, it becomes one of the world’s favorites in as far as restructuring, remodeling and redesigning are concerned. Mr. Weenen founded Weenen General Contracting Limited. Its operations began in Cabbage town, a neighborhood on the eastern side of Toronto’s downtown. The neighborhood was one of the poorest in down town Toronto. In fact, the word cabbage town came about from the fact that the residents depended on cabbage as their source of food.

Now, thanks to Mr. Weenen and his renovation ideas, the town has now become one of the biggest towns in North America. Here, you will find the preserved Victorian housing. Cabbage town has turned out to be a modernized town that embraces both the affluent and poor in the community. This is in comparison to its early reputation as a solely poor town. With a perfect blend of both the rich and poor, made possible by Weenen General Contracting Company, the town is among the most adored towns in North America (GBM700 Company Profile).

Transformation of Cabbage Town

Wealth and rich personalities were involved in the gentrification process of Cabbage town since 1970. Despite the fact that fences made from iron, mason pathways and well-manicured gardens is what meets the present eye, most of the residents did not let go of their minuscule Victorian row houses. All the same, this did not prevent the renovation company from achieving its objectives. Instead, it integrated these Victorian houses and highly upheld culture with its implementation changes.

The company embraces humanity values and that is why it did not displace the poor in Toronto. Even today, you will still find very poor people living within the urbanized landscape. Thus, Cabbage town is a hybrid town where you will find different kinds of people in that the affluent have their peace and so do the less privileged (GBM700 Company Profile).

Products and Services

Weenen is highly reputable and most of the clients cannot wait to get the company’s sign on their property. This is because the company is highly known for its immense ability of transforming a neighborhood. Most of the neighborhoods considered prestigious and of a high-class stratum owe their outlook to Weenen General Contracting Company. When the company pulls up its sleeves to perform a renovation function, the results are awesome as they do a thorough and extensive renovation. Thus, when their sign is put up on a certain property, everyone is becomes expectant as they eagerly wait for the wonderful transformation upon the given piece of property. Everyone seeks to have their neighborhoods or other deteriorated areas upgraded by the one and only, the Weenen General Contracting Company due to its high quality and dependable services.

Operation

As I earlier said its centre of operations are Forest Hill, Rosedale, Moore Park, Lea side and Cabbage town. Despite the fact that the company is highly reputable, it is not able to accept the voluminous renovation jobs that it should engineer and remodel. In particular, contrary to the company’s portfolio of engaging in extensive and extraordinary renovation mould, the company does not accept the renovation job. It therefore accepts only those tasks that are in line with its renovation mould of performing extraordinary work and craft. An example of an extraordinary renovation activity the company will indulge in is the construction of an exterior staircase to enhance the privacy of homeowners as well as refining traders and professionals in their areas of work. The company will be extra cautious when it comes to all the exterior facets that include the pools, gardens, shrub areas or any other outstanding landscape. While doing their extensive renovation work, the company ensures that it does not cause any harm or injury to the homeowners pets.

Marketing

Contrary to the highly upheld belief that for a company to succeed, it has to do a lot media commercials while advertising, the company has adopted the word of mouth to market its services. In addition, their high quality and commendable services speak for themselves. Thus, when one experiences their cost-effective work, they will seek for no other company other than the Weenen’s General Contracting Limited services. The vast and dynamic team that does the construction ensures safety, security and planning as well as carries out trade makes sure that the work they do speaks for itself. Again, Mr. Weenen sees to it that the company operates based on a brilliantly structured and masterminded project.

Target Market

The company engages in more than 120 renovation projects per year. Its main areas of operation are,

  • Claire Avenue
  • Gerard Street
  • Don River
  • Avenue Road

Its customer base is disconcerting and full of class. Therefore, it would not be in order if the company did not provide its customers with high quality residential renovations to suite their tastes.

Industrial Analysis

The company is engaged in offering quality services to its clients and in particular, the high end Residential client. The trading system used by the company is credible in that it entails qualified, highly trained, certified, insured and licensed professionals. Therefore, it is outright that the company has put in credible efforts to enhance acceptable high quality services. On another angle of the spectrum, the company is able to make an income of approximately 3.5 to 4 million dollars.
