Martin Luther is one of the most important men in the history of the western world, dating back almost 400 hundred years ago. His writings were inspirational to many. He lived between 1483 and 1569. In this Middle Ages period, he encouraged the reformation of protestant churches. He was Christian theologian and also Augustinian.

He changed Christianity during the renaissance after he went to a church in Germany and pinned to the door his thoughts and troubles. This included the practice of selling indulgences, where individuals would pay to the church, instead of atoning for their sins. He suggested the use of native language where appropriate in church masses. Luther condemned various ways of catholic practices. The future of humans was doomed for change when he publicized his 95 theses. This was the beginning of the protestant reformation. During the renaissance humanism became popular and dignity and individual worth were emphasized. Thanks to Luther the catholic religion lost its unimaginable power due to the arising of new thoughts.

Many spiritual individuals do not attend church and for this reason most church going people see them as nonbelievers. In today’s world secular education is a far greater than the Christianity field. The emerging technologies have encouraged the growth in the secular world. Despite the variety, of Christianities, the number of religious people many individuals. After the reformation, novel branches sprung up to lead to branches like Anabaptism and Protestantism. Secular is passed on from generation to generation at a rate faster than that of Christianity. In most individuals, religion has become a personal choice rather than influence from parents and other people.
