When Did You Last Have a Great Conversation? Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 311

Essay

It is not long since we had a great conversation with a soccer captain. The conversation was about his team’s first experience with the loss of the game. “We had trained well, and we were prepared for the best in this game,” the soccer captain claimed. “Training is essential for every team, but there are key tactics that can be applied to ensure your game skills remain unique from that of your opponents,” I told him. What are the keynotes we can learn from this game you lost? “We were affected by few or minor mistakes such as lack of coordination and communication amongst key players. We lost because our players were so slow to roll the balls ahead, and the opponents were so fast. It is like they had done sufficient training and prepared a game plan that allowed them to maneuver the whole soccer tactics,” he said.

The conversation was educative as these notes or main tips from the soccer captain reveal the importance of being prepared before going for a game. This applies to all groups, not only in soccer, and this conversation reveals the importance of training throughout even when the team does not have a game because it makes them physically fit. The success of soccer depends on the capability of the players alongside applying possible techniques such as staying organized and coordinating alongside communicating well with the other soccer players. The soccer captain was unfortunate that they lost this important game after all the training they had done. But he was optimistic that they would win other games in the future. I found this conversation educative and unique because I highlighted every player’s essentials that I believe I will apply in all games that I participate in now and in the future. I enjoyed the conversation and learned essential tips for being a great soccer player.
