Pages: 1

Words: 263

Essay

The primary reason for some many deaths with guns in the United States is protection of Americans that have the right to be armed. However, the United States needs stricter measures for the purchase, ordering or ownership of a gun. The people hide behind the right to bear arms but the government has failed to control the purchase of the guns legally and illegally. In Waco Texas, it was estimated they had enough guns explosives and dynamite to blow up the state of Texas. How did this renegade religious group managed to order and buy so many guns and ammunition with the government investigating their intended use. This goes back to protecting the right to bear arms but the laws need to add sections that address excessive or unnecessary gun purchases. The best example is an order for 8000 assault rifles should be a flag in the United States regardless of who is ordering that many rifles. It was estimated that the guns in Mexico owned by the drug cartel were mostly purchased in the United States.  The answer to gun violence, gun control and gun rights are a very complex problem but the ability to obtain a gun in American without a gun permit is a problem. In addition, many times the shooter purchases the hand gun waited the mandatory 7 or 21 days, however,  you can walk into Walmart and purchase a shotgun or rifle with no permit. Is about the accessibility of the weapons in the United States and providing innovative ways to prevent egregious gun crimes with gun education.
