The fourth step is transferring the bear’s plan to the wood, followed by the fifth step, which is roughing out or grounding. These two steps are done concurrently to help in shedding off the excess unwanted material from the wood. After these two steps, the sixth, seventh and eighth steps follow closely, which entail modeling, detailing, and finishing. Modeling is conducted to produce the general physique of the bear and then detailing pronounces the bear’s features, which are smoothened out during finishing.
