Many prominent people have been campaigning against the disposal of the depleted uranium at Yucca Mountain. They say that the depleted uranium is both radioactive and chemically toxic. This is because causes the mutations of the DNA, damaging of the human cells as well as causing other effects of carcinogenic. Depleted uranium at the Mountain of Yucca has led to the increase of cancer rates and the defects of birth within the state of Nevada.

Conclusion

Therefore, due to its effects, people are fighting for a global ban use of weapons containing uranium, its manufacture as well as its export. The ministries of defense in Nevada and the whole world must convince people that the weapons have been connected illnesses which are serious.
