Often it was discovered that in family business as changes occur over decades the older management, especially, the founders grow wearing of managing and want to give by selling as an easy way out. However, in my opinion family business should perpetuate for generations because it is a financial foundation on which off springs can built and be sustained at a respectable level in the society. As such, from my point of view Jo should join his family business. He is young and articulate. While he may not have a wealth of business experience, the business is encountering financial difficulties. As an aspiring auditor his experience is very useful now in the company. His support is imperative. There has been set backs in sales due to completion with novels that were printed and sold at a cheaper price.

Jo has to understand a great deal of the business’ management of which he currently is a novice due to lack of the appropriate exposure. Therefore, the first phase of this preparation begins with working in the business to understand some of its strengths and comparably weakness. It also means understudying the present management. Also, it is researching the company’s history with the goal of developing modern printing techniques consistent with current market trends. This once prosperous printing business seemed to seemed to have outlived its usefulness in relation to innovations it once mastered to have bevome successful. While business trends  arre dynamaic my belief that there I still some creative marketing tool that could keep a 90 year old business valuable. Jo should sear for them, find them and implement them as a young manager.
