Essay

The editors of the magazine America, the National Catholic Review provide a definite course of identification especially in making a distinct impact on how the rate of women being incarcerated in America reflect the kind of culture that the nation see to have fully altered the situation in the country thus making a remarkable impact on the living condition of female prisoners accordingly.

The increase of numbers of female individuals incarcerated every year dramatically increases record accordingly through time especially within the American region. At a current rate, the Black American women and the Hispanic individuals often take the lead in such advancement in rate of incarceration among women (Editors). This was duly observed to have been dependent on the manner by which most of these women were involved in drug-dealing cases often involving the desire to protect their children and provide for their basic needs.

However, when incarcerated, most of these women undergo a certain point of change especially in consideration to how they face life. The lack of chance to be with their children affect the way they think and perceive matters so much that instead of taking the higher road towards recovery, more female inmates are forced to embrace life in prison even stronger [as they aim to survive for their families or children while they are inside the prison homes].

Another problem that prevails the situation is the manner by which incarcerated women are less supported after they have completed serving their sentences (Editors). This then makes it even harder for them to survive considering that they already have past delinquency records making it impossible to get decent jobs, thus returning to incurring scrupulous acts that would fully define their desire to survive for their families even if it takes going back to the prison homes.
