Research Paper

Optimization of services offered is made possible through the contribution of the sentiments of the end user concerning the services offered by IT as well as software (Ahn, Brusilovsky & Syn, 2007). The end user will have the access of any newly developed software system on daily basis and thus will have a better understanding of the data that is within the legacy system. The end user will also be working around any arising problems that are associated with the new system and determines how to make best use of the system to perform their tasks more efficiently and quickly. The role of evaluation of business enablement as well as IT communications is also best executed by the end user. It is therefore to value any feedback from the end user as their perspective enables the organization to determine the success of company innovation, the agility of the IT system, and the contribution of technology in enhancing their job performance.

The organization therefore must ensure that feedback is collected from the end user and addressed.  This can best be accomplished through evaluation of receptivity of IT for the feedback from the end user as well as the capability of timely delivery and targeted training. The voices of the end user must be heard and acted upon. The organization is also anticipated provide feedback to the targeted department and consider sharing the satisfaction as well as the ratings supplied by the end user on the core services that are offered in IT (Ardissono, 2001). Enhancement of communication with end user is equally important while focusing on the most relevant user groups as well as business lines. The productivity and satisfaction of the end user must be ramped up.
