Introduction

Change is an essential part of growth. Accordingly, this is what Litre (2011) wants to point out especially in relation to changing particular operations for the sake of dealing with the demands of the target stakeholders of the organization. For organizations determinably aiming to function for the society as that of the healthcare industry, they need to follow the path of change for the sake of giving what the target stakeholders need and demand for.

Case Description

Considering the path of change that modern medicine is taking into account, it could be noticed the latest that one of such points of advancements involve the utilization of IT in the overall operations of healthcare. Most likely, the institution of IT into the whole system of operation of the healthcare industry does give a more identifiable course of improvement especially on how the staff members handle their own responsibility especially when it comes to creating centralized and monitored conditions of healthcare management.

Discussion and Evaluation

The adjustments taken into account could be related to the use of EHR or Electronic Healthcare Record. The electronic healthcare record is one aspect that basically creates a more defined insistence on how the staff members are connected to each other towards establishing a central goal which is to protect the patient and give them what they demand for. This adjustment calls for distinct changes on the culture and operations of the healthcare organizations; all for the sake of the betterment of the patients and how they are handled as well as protected by healthcare practitioners dedicated to managing their cases and resolving their health issues.

Conclusion

As Patrick Litre himself suggests, change ought to follow through with success underlying the capacity of the leaders to direct their people into embracing such changes. This is what good leadership is about; aiding others to embrace the said matter of improvement among themselves, the way they work and the way they provide their service to others.
