This paper will therefore use an interrogative approach to get information from the police commander in New Jersey on the below listed issues. The traditional model of policing to community model of policing, assessing the impacts of homeland model of policing. Evaluate the integration of the three policing models. The study will also identify the effectiveness and weakness of the each of the three models of policing.

Literature review

This section will accentuate the current view of authors and researchers in field. The review section will highlight the similarity the research objectives and the views held by the authors in the field of community policing

Methodology

The data collection method to be used in this study will be an interview of senior police officers in New Jersey who will be main respondents of the study; moreover a few civilians will also be interviewed on a random basis. The research method will take a qualitative approach where the respondents will give information on the three models of policing, their effectiveness and areas of weaknesses. The data collected will be analyzed and interpretations will be given.

Discussions and conclusions

This will form the last part of the thesis where information on the whole paper will be discussed. The discussions based on findings of the study will be provided. The conclusions will give the synopsis of the study.
