Opposition to globalization translates to culture loss and the film industry in the United States is keen in upholding culture Americanization as well as homogenization. Rather than creation of global village that is solitary and boring, cultural diversity proliferation is the preference course of action through globalization. Majority of the films that emanate from Japan, Germany, India and China uphold the integrity of talents from different regions across the globe. Majority of the studios and television stations are also keen on diversity as they target their markets in Russia, China, Mexico and many other countries. Cultural nuances and talents are therefore considered as crucial aspects and the functionality of Hollywood has been transformed by the world. The field of entertainment has embraced cultural diversity which consequently leads to rich choices. Hollywood has played a crucial role in transforming the world in to more homogenous as a result of globalization.

Generally, the global economy and specifically the entertainment industry cannot be blamed for making the world to be the American shopping mall. Globalization is attributed to a dominant culture that is the cause of homogenization. Majority of the products are associated with a global reach as well as appeal although this does not imply quashing of their culture. Majority of the theatric box comprises of films that have been manufactured in languages of the countries of origin. The export of American culture has been an issue adorned by many people although heroes, actors, and villains from specific regions are also favored. Most people would like to witness  some stars and stories that are linked to their societies being portrayed in the languages that they know well. Consequently, majority of the most renowned Hollywood produce films in local languages and this business has flourished.
