Critical Thinking, Assessment Example

My intended studies in business management, I feel, would be suitable in regards to my abilities, passions, and ability to serve current needs.  My unique qualities and character would prospectively add to the many different directions I could perform with this degree.  As a result, these characteristics would go a long way to making me a great prospect entering into the business world.

Gifts, Talents, and Unique Abilities

My gifts, talents, and unique abilities span a number of dynamics.  As an outward person, I enjoy singing and dancing.  Additionally, acting and the field of drama interests me as well.  These interests help me express myself, and I enjoy being active in this manner.  Furthermore, it allows me to develop an appreciation for these interests, talents, and gifts that I enjoy developing in myself and in others.

I also have other unrelated interests.  I love to go running, which is great exercise and allows me to be adventurous and put my mind at ease.  When I want to stay in, I enjoy being able to bake and cook.  It is always interesting learning how to prepare new and favorite foods, which also lets me be adventurous when I so desire.

Passions

I am passionate about several things that are important in my life.  I love to help people in any way I can.  For instance, volunteering at the homeless shelter is a great way to give back and something I greatly enjoy.  It allows me to help those who are less fortunate than I, which allows me to give back to my community.

Helping others is something that extends to other environments.  Even on something as simple as being with friends, I enjoy organizing parties for myself and others.  Any way I can use my talents to help others, I try to emulate this through my activities and within my overall character.

I also enjoy staying healthy through events and within my community.  Marathons and fitness are important endeavors I like to take part in.  Additionally, I enjoy activities such as shopping.

Needs

According to the needs of the world, I believe I possess a number of qualities that can help make the world a better place.  I maintain my active nature in helping others and donating to the needy.  More generally, I believe I display love and respect for those around me, which I try to demonstrate as best as I can on a daily basis, wherever I am and whatever I do.

Studies in Business Management

I believe that my character, interests, and other aspects of who I am makes me a great candidate for studies in business management.  Foremost, my character is suitable towards any endeavor, as I try to demonstrate love and respect for others, as well as myself.  This in itself I believe is important to possess, regardless of one’s chosen career or studies.

I also believe that my desire to help others will help me thrive in this career.  As there are many angles in which I could see my career with this major, my desire to help others and give back to my community will certainly aid my career and reputation in business.  Along with my other varied interests that define who I am as a person, my character and mindset towards myself and others, I believe and trust, makes me a great prospect for my intended studies in business management.
