Case Study

How should Carnival go about implementing a CRM strategy?

Establishing a working online website that would host both the marketing approaches and handle online transactions for the clients would improve the culture of service that the organization is already rooted upon at present. Relatively, it could be analyzed that such strategy would actually provide a better sense on how they are able to assure the satisfaction of the customers they serve before, during and after they have experienced cruising with carnival ship.

Through the CRM strategy applied by the business, it is expected that more travelling clients would choose the cruise line as their primary course of travel. The improvement of customer-centered services that the organization is noted for shall better define their way of doing business which will initiate a great source of attention from the market therefore creating better base for profit for the company.

What else should they do to leverage customer data for enhancing the guest experience and the company’s bottom line?

Allowing online transactions to efficiently work for the prospective clients to book their travel in an immediate and timely manner thus assuring themselves of a better vacation that they would surely enjoy. This will further the possibility by which loyal customers would repeatedly access Carnival’s services the next time they would travel.

Currently, such procedures of operation have already become a trend especially among organizations enjoined within travel and tourism industries. Being able to connect with clients online and being able to record data about them shall provide the organization a chance to know what their target market really wants and what type of services are expected from them. This way, the company would be able to double, even triple, the satisfaction of their clients through continuously improving their ways of operation based on the reactions and feedbacks of the clients who once tried their services and would likely want to return for more.
