Essay

Bladder Cancer: This is a urologic cancer which is very much common. This cancer is painless and is mostly seen in the patients (Medspace, 2013). The recurrence rate of this bladder cancer of any malignancy is high.

Chronic Pelvic Pain: CPP is a common problem in women and it is a major challenge to the doctors as the response to the given treatment is very poor. Some problems like anxiety, depression and drug addiction are associated with CPP.

Neurogenic Bladder: The function of the urinary bladder is regulated by the peripheral and the central nervous system. Because of the dysfunctions of the nervous system, improper functioning of the urinary bladder occurs.

Bladder Trauma: The injuries to the bladder are caused by the penetrating trauma. Timely treatment with surgical and medical management is required. Appropriate radiological studies and early treatment result in proper diagnosis of bladder trauma (AMN, 2006).

Bacterial Prostatitis: The bacterial infection to the prostate gland is Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis (CBP). This also results in causing the urinary tract infections. This symptom is complex and is very much common in men.

Urethral Strictures: This causes discomfort to the urinary retention. These strictures occur in men because of various reasons and results in manifestations. Understanding the anatomy of the urethra and urological technology is very much essential.

Urinary Tract Infection: Adult men are less likely to develop these urinary tract infections (UTI) than the women.  Epididymitis, Prostatitis and Orchitis are the causes for the male UTI (Bachmann & Rosette, 2012). The complications of UTI are the pyonephrosis, recurrent infection, hydronephrosis, bacteremia and formation of fistula.
