Ultra Music Festival In Miami

This image was taken at the 2013 Ultra Music Festival In Miami, Florida. The composition of the photograph is quite effective, as it takes advantage of the angles and lines that diverge from the center of the stage. It is difficult to say with certainty whether this image has been manipulated, as the multicolored lighting system is obviously contributing to the visible, rich colors. Despite the impact of the lights, however, it appears to me that the colors have been slightly saturated in order to make the image appear more dramatic.

Digital manipulation

Digital manipulation is commonly seen in photographs used in advertising. I found this picture by looking at various advertisements and weeding out the ones where the digital manipulation was too obvious. This is a particularly effective picture, as it highlights the advantages of using digital manipulation. This is a picture that could have been taken in real life, yet it would obviously have endangered the baby. So this is an example of using digital manipulation in a way that is not overtly obvious at first glance. After looking more closely at the full-sized image I was able to discern some telltale signs that the image of the baby had been added to the picture, but the manipulation is not completely obvious

digital color effects

A photographer friend showed me a link to this picture because he liked the composition. I mentioned the digital color effects visible in the image, and my friend disagreed. He believes that the colors seen in the photo are all results of the stage lighting, but it appears to me that they have been digitally enhanced.
