Distance learning can be used to deliver a lecture to geographically dispersed trainees. Thinking of a department manager at your workplace, build a business case for how distance learning could be designed and used to avoid some of the learning and transfer of training problems of the traditional lecture method.

With off-shoring or outsourcing becoming a common trend among organizations today, it could be realized that gaining a more effective way of correlatively connecting with others online provides a more competent way of reassuming the aspect of motivation and developmental training that other outsourced members of the company would need to incur. It could be analyzed that somehow, the operation of distance learning has provided a great resource for the administration to connect and train new off-shore employees through online program operations.

A particular distance learning program could be established through an online network of communication that could include voice-to-voice or video-enhanced coverage of the training. These elemental factors could make the conversation more effective and the condition of the training more efficient. Administrators benefit well from this form of operation as they are able to consider direct communication with the trainees and implicating both values and culture into the work attitude of those working off shore for the company. In cases like this though, fast delivery of messages could become a problem when the internet connection is too slow. Nonetheless, such problems could be fixed if increasing bandwidth of internet shall be considered by both parties involved.
