In fact, it took me a while to think about whether to choose distance learning or not, for I was not sure about its efficiency without face-to-face communication with the professor. I was also very concerned about the security issue, as to whether all my works are kept private and are not spread out online. However, one of my friends has been taking distant learning courses for almost three years and he provided me with reasons and arguments regarding the effectiveness of distance learning that made me change my mind and actually go with it. I realized that online learning could save me plenty of time so I can work and earn for living while actually improving my knowledge and education. However, I would suggest to avoid taking distance classes in courses where class participation is vital for its successful comprehension.
