Division of Wealth, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 286

Essay

The years spanning between the late 1700s towards the early 1800s specifically provides a clear definition of how white Americans, Native Americans, Black Americans and racial minorities treated each other especially when it comes to mandating the point of sharing wealth between each other. As history itself presents, the struggle for survival became tougher as the years pursued towards the need to embrace a more definite sense of understanding what creating a modern society meant. In the process, the White Americans came out to be rather superior than the other groups of races in the country. Not only did this instance of social superiority eminent, it was also the reason behind the unequal division and distribution of wealth among the said group of individuals.

Superior White Americans began taking over the social constructs which included the need to control the situation especially when it comes to creating a better sense of identifying who deserves to receive a bigger share of wealth from the society and its operations. In this setup, the White Americans got the fairest share from such conditions. This meant that the Black Americans and other minorities received the least share as the weaker members of the community as slaves. Relatively, the Native Americans also lost their battle for the lands they practically owned especially when it comes to managing the commercial procedures occurring during the time. This made it harder for the minorities to get any fair share from whatever possible wealth is available in the society at the time. This is why the Free Soil Party has been established in order to provide minorities better chances on how they are to get fair-share on the soil policies that are administered by the government.
