PART 1
Environmental Issue and Documents
In Focus: Issues on Climate Change
Climate change is the most prominent issue that is expected to create a sense of commotion among related organizations and agencies around the world in a much harder approach than they did the past few years. This issue has been further defined through an FAQ’s [Frequently Asked Questions] approach hence creating a specific development that indicates on the better knowledge of people upon the issue involved as presented at http://www.thegreatwarming.com/pdf/ClimateChangeFactSheet.pdf. From this page, clarification information on the facts behind the emergence of climate change has been presented in the aim of creating a more refined understanding that leastids to better choices of solution for the readers of the article. On the other hand, McMullen and Jabbour (2009) specify several facts that insist on the scientific basis of the occurrence of climate change due to the transforming functions of the earth and its systems. This is further supported by the National Science Teachers Association or NSTA as they created documentation on the different sources that could be used to define the existence of climate change and how these definitions could provide a better view of what solutions are more effective to be applied to respond to the growing problem that the issue brings.
Statistical data has been used by the National Weather Service of NOAA as they tried to create a depicting presentation that would show their readers a sense of mathematical rationalization as to what the issue is about and how climate change actually affects the natural bearing of the earth as well as its natural function that supports life. To make the explanations clearer, Hegerl and Zwelrs’ reading material on climate change provides a constructive presentation of what could seem as the recollection of the needed explanation about climate change alongside the use of statistical data to provide a logistic proof to the matter. Finally, the report released by the Global Leadership for Climate Action group indicates how the emergence of climate change in the human society should be faced successfully and willingly by people through the assistance of leaders who are ready to make changes on their own ways so as to impose protection to the natural resources that could still be preserved and somehow be saved from complete destruction. Here, industrialization is not considered a boon to the desire of saving nature, instead is assumed to be a viable tool for redeveloping nature’s capability to support and protect itself. Relatively, the transformation of the role that industrialization takes in terms of global development is suggested to be one of the biggest steps that could be used to redefine the process by which the human society intends to deal with climate change.
Through these particular resources, it could be analyzed how the authors viewed proper knowledge about climate change to be one key source towards the elimination of the problem itself. It could be noted that at some point, the utilization of mathematical statistics to represent the actual accountability of the situation strengthens the proofs that are held specifically helpful in helping the society see what is really happening to the world in relation to the emergence of climate change. From these facts come the definitions of several solutions that are designed to make specific changes in the process by which the problem is addressed especially by those who have the power to do so. Notably, this indicates that the cooperative condition of assisting each other in refining their role towards saving the society’s natural resources to protect the earth from incurring anymore damages is a key towards successful campaign and efforts against the growing problem of climate change.
PART 2
In Focus: Global Climate Change
Temporal Scales
- Global climate change can cause the lowering rate of water supply to several areas in the world especially on urbanized areas that specifically require extensive water distribution system. This could happen because of the fact that water sources are running out of supply.
- The growth of plants could become stagnant as the resources for their development such as water and rich soil slowly loses environmental dependability.
- Rainy days and sunny days especially on equatorial nations are expected to be lengthened and have an imbalance of occurrence hence affecting the social development of nations involved.
Spatial Scales
- Individuals would have to bear with the changes happening especially relating to the daily activities they have been accustomed to do.
- Nations are expected to take necessary measures and make extensive investments in defining their solutions to the enlarging effects of global warming in their areas.
- International environmental agencies are hoped to create solutions that could respond to the dilemma through engaging in research and correlative conferences to get the opinions and suggestions of other experts on the matter.
Societal Impacts
- The ecosystems are expected to become more imbalanced as they already are at present. Floods and other natural disasters are expected to occur due to such instance of ecological imbalance.
- The transnational relations of countries are expected to shift from purely commercial to being guided by environmental protocols that are supposed to be given attention to by parties engaging in the exchange of values.
- The bioregional aspect of development is expected to undergo several adjustments to create possibilities to save ecosystems in the area hence preserving natural resources that could still be preserved.
