Case Study

No nation in itself is self-sufficient for it “has to be involved in different levels of trade to be successful with freight transportation, globalized trade and global policy implications”. (Rodriquez, 2012).Countries are all subject to international policy and taxation rule, also. One cannot function without globalization of production and trade. Trade has incurred at a high rate over the past centuries even much more in this fast growing 20th century of economies trading amongst each other. The scale of volume and efficiency with transportation and trade has ever increased since the 1970’s. Since the 1970’s it has been increasingly easier to trade amongst countries because of transportation and policy implications being made easier to the regular trader. People and companies are taking advantage of this coherent system to make trade volumes larger in the 20th century.

We know that without international trade few countries could sustain on their own. The North American Freight Transportation System is very organized, effective and efficient. It is comprised of an array of trading devices, such as land, water and air transportation. People and companies move trade with little ease these days. In Europe, the transportation freight system is also very economical and easy to maneuver. They as well use the waterways, air and land to move products from one country to another. Especially trade with North America, United Kingdom and China is done with little ease. They both have great reputation of moving products from one country to another within days which used to take months in the older centuries.

USA and Britain have similar trade systems. They move the bulk of their product via freight on the water ways and airline carriers for faster delivery times. For in country trading they use the highways and trucks unless the product is needed within 24 hours then they use airways, again respectively. This has been the way they both do it since the 19th century and ongoing into the 20th century.

Trade is no longer structured by colonial measures but it is still not limited by raw materials, intermediates and finished products. Trade is regulated by the North American and European Trading Acts, respectively. They both have their own acts to be mandated by but they state virtually the same that trade must be within the countries and international trading policies and adhere to all rules and laws of both lands, respectively. There are trade and globalization alliance pacts made by each county with the other concerning trade, globalization and policy procedures.

“As the United States and the European Union begin the negotiation of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, please join us for a conference to examine the challenges and opportunities of including Canada and Mexico in the agreement.” ( North American-European Trade Agreement). Because of the implementation of NAFTA, the North American European Trade Agreement Mexico and Canada have begun to develop great and deep trading ties. Given this agreement the trade and agreement with North America and Europe is the world’s largest free trading movement to date. Experts are trying to decipher how Mexico and Canada can partake in this free trade agreement.

In conclusion the policies and procedures that have been implemented across the nations are strict and proper in person. But they are standard trade agreements that are working positively for trade amongst all nations partaking in such agreements.
