This paper is based on the summary of the article on ‘Eve’s Daughter’ which is written by Miriam pollster. In this article we can see all those men and women who have personal aspirations which are balanced presently against the restrictions, either by society, company of others or by themselves. Pollster has given the mythological example of the Greek to the bible in which she has confronted the view of archetypal and explains that what constitutes of a ‘heroic behavior’ or a ‘hero’. Throughout history, the heroic deeds of women have been misinterpreted, ignored and maligned. An instance given by Miriam Pollster is that she differentiate the condemnation of Eve with that of Prometheus admirations. Although each gave humanity knowledge and defied the gods. The writer shows in this article that in our society the understanding of heroism is entrenched in the male archetypes in an archaic manner. These archetypes are destructive potentially and are mostly irrelevant to our regular lives.

In this article, the writer have offered an approach that is positive towards women psychology. She explains that why the world needs to celebrate the women heroism, from the Eve to the everyday life champions. From a mother who is single in the school night, the scientist who is a female in the male dominated society, the harassment of women demanding justice etc. The examples of these case draws from the writer’s private practices as well as biblical commentary, mythology and anthropology. She shows in this article that women heroism is more attuned to the psychological and real social needs of men, children and women today. In order to sum up, the writer wants to show how men and women are involved in the confrontation of their regular struggles. This struggle doesn’t need to be limited to male stereotypical heroisms only but it should rely on unique quality, innate and strength. As in history, we can see how the women heroines have moves true heroism to realize self-fulfillment and achieve their objectives.
