1. 1. If (electric vehicles are a solution to global pollution), then (adopting them will have a significant reduction on pollution
      • Supporting Statement – in the form of air pollution reduction coming from air exhaust put into the environment by car exhaust
      • Supporting Statement – in the form of oil production pollution reduction but into the environment by oil production companies
      • Supporting Statement – in overall resource use and production
   2. If (they are likely to result in pollution reduction), then (they should be adopted and used_
      • Supporting Statement – companies are investing and developing them as a viable alternative for the future
      • Supporting Statement – they are set to use less resources and fuel as opposed to fossil fuel burning traditional vehicles
      • Supporting Statement – they are likely to be adopted by the population if they are likely to result in benefits over traditional cars

Premise 2: If electric vehicles are likely to be a solution to global pollution

1. 1. If regular cars are more contributive to global pollution than electric cars, then electric cars will likely be developed and used by the population
      • Supporting Statement – cars cause a significant amount of pollution in the form of carbon monoxide exhaust
      • Supporting Statement – air pollution and gas production pollution can have extremely negative effects on the health and safety of people
      • Supporting Statement – has significant impact on health of population in terms of diseases and water / food contamination
   2. Gasoline cars cause more pollution than electric cars
      • Supporting Statement – they cause pollution in the air which is a major risk to the health of people and the environment
      • Supporting Statement – oil production causes pollution in and of itself in the environment which has disastrous effect on people and wildlife.
      • Supporting Statement – it has a significant impact on society in the form of public health and safety as well as economic efficiency
2. Conclusion: Electric cars are a significant solution to global pollution
