Terms of Reference

This report seeks to provide an analysis of suitability for a position in Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. This would involve analysis of personal attributes, motivation and credentials in line with the mission and objectives of Gulfstream Aerospace.

Procedure

This report was developed through a collection of secondary information on Gulfstream Aerospace. Secondary information for the aerospace company was obtained through reading of magazines, journals and other literature with information on jet manufacturing and the positioning of the company. Other information involved in this report is based on the author’s knowledge of his capabilities, interests and credentials with regard to the suitability of working with Gulfstream Aerospace.

Findings

A number of findings can be drawn with regard to Gulfstream Aerospace. In the first place, the company is identified as an organization, which designs, develops, manufactures, markets, services and supports business jets. With this in mind, the company could be segmented into the manufacturing and logistics sector.

The Gulfstream Aerospace strategic plan involves the development of high quality products and the deployments of product orientation to market. In this respect, the company seeks to grow its sales through production of high quality jet and jet products. Through developing high quality business jets, the company earns significant profits because of the premium pricing of its products and logistical services. For implementation of the company’s marketing and growth strategy, the need for skills in Business and Management cannot be underemphasized.

There is a close connection between the company’s operations and the core product and my academic qualifications. The company does deal with developing, designing and manufacturing of high class jets. This would call for increased levels of creativity and innovation at the workstation. It is through increased levels of innovation and creativity that new designs and approaches to running operations at the institution would be developed.

Gulfstream Aerospace has already created and highflying brand in the aerospace and jet manufacturing industry. With a great experience in manufacturing and maintenance of high-class business jets, the company’s future lies with the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations (Paton 165). The company is well known for having one of the best human relations and appraisal strategies, a factor that makes it one of the best places to work.

Conclusion

Based on the positioning of the company in the market and its operations, there are all reasons to believe that Gulfstream Aerospace is a good place to work in. With all the motivations and credentials on my name, working with this company would be much of a great experience and challenge to me.

  1. Gulfstream Aerospace provides one of the best working stations in the world and in as far s aerospace products and logistical issues is concerned (Casil 32). The success of the company in the future would only be sustained through sustained human resource management strategies.
  2. The passion and motivation in me with regard to working with the company would be a good springboard for better performance if granted the opportunity to work with the company.
  3. The company would benefit a great deal through my skills and knowledge in business management and strategy if given the chance to serve as a staff member
  4. The company can grow its sales through product differentiation as a growth strategy
