Pages: 2

Words: 653

Essay

Introduction

Public Health concept has great importance to Americans as a social obstacle. There is extensive acceptance of the fact that the American Healthcare systems is very imbalance while others are fully covered and small percentage of people has limited insurance cover or not cover at all. As we know that in America healthcare system is not universal and it is linked to employment where employees are offered health coverage which becomes the obligation of the ensured employees and their employer. Therefore, how the good coverage based on the type of cover they can afford, in case they are employed at all. There are many that selected no cover or limited cover at all due to the fact that they are charged high rates by the insurance companies.

Purpose Statement

The exempted citizens include at risk, very poor families, the elderly and veterans who qualify for Medicare. According to 2009 US Census Bureau approximately 17% of total American population are not insured. The United States public expenses per capita is the greatest and in 2007 CBS report declared that 62% filed bankruptcy is from medical debt and high medical expenses which is the blame of the financial mess (Cresswell, 2009). It is clear that U.S. healthcare system delivery service has some disparities. The healthcare providers doing their best by all means to lobby the system that it is a big industry for universal healthcare will establish the financial instruments irrelevant.are doing their best to lobby the continuation of the system being that it is a huge industry for universal healthcare will establish their financial instruments irrelevant. My recommendation would be for universal healthcare in the United States because based on the current expenses, universal healthcare will be advantageous to public and would be affordable to maintain and contribute to. Universal healthcare will eliminate the pressure, tension and anxiety on public and to make sure the contribution into the system and allow for total change.

In this research, my hypothesis is the comparison of current expenses and healthcare system in the United States with the country of very successful universal healthcare system which is in this case is United Kingdom. Data for such research may be generated from focus groups, cognitive thinking, semi structured or open ended questionnaires, interviews, and narratives, and may lead to important insights and explanations of the impact of the social phenomenon on disease occurrences.

Collecting data for the research would be structure, total coverage, expenses and service accessibility, limitations, budget, annual public contribution to the NHS, public opinion towards the service. The above information will be used as categories and its elements for the purpose of a comparative analysis. The same information will also be needed to compare the US healthcare system.

Research Considerations: Design, Validity & Ethics

After the hypothesis and sources collection the next step is research design which would be scientific method and deductive. My information collecting sources would be US and UK agencies which has online accessible information. Next step is conducting comparative analysis to figure out the key difference. “They questions would be, Is the UK’s Healthcare system better? Is the healthcare universlaization is a better option for United States? “ (Ouyang, 1996).

The final step is the conclusion and recommendations and it will present a quantitative paper. In relation to Objectivity maintenance and validity, it will be making sure that all the collected in not bias and like the data presented by the Pew Research Centre and the UK’s London school of economics. In this research the practice of reflexivity will be sure and bias and judgements are not reflected in this paper. It will have to objective and data driven. Moreover, materials that can be used must be public and when the issues in relation to use will be use of question.
