He as well is the public’s window into the assurance and complexities of a new loom in California to cases like his, presenting support for the whole person fairly than healing for a disease.
The Dwelling Place for the Homeless
Lopez tries much to pull Ayars out of the street. Ayars still spends on the street, considering that the spirit of Beethoven will guard him. But Ayers’ outlook of himself is varying given that his relationship to a community may be taking grasp. Ayars appears away from help, to himself and the community health system. For instance, the work of the Alameda County Community Food Bank which is a non profitable organization is to alleviate hunger in the community by providing nutritious food and nutrition education to homeless people.
The Road to a Homeless Life
Those who are drug addicts should wait for any rehab program. People should avoid taking alcohol since it is one of the causes of the homelessness. Homeless people lean to have unique needs, whether mental or physical, which could comprise anger management, aid building relationships, conflict resolution, self motivation or physical disabilities. Nathaniel is not only homeless but mentally illness as well.
Working With the Homeless
Lopez first comes across the musician in the notorious spin out row, “a dumping ground for prisoners freed from a nearby jail and place where sirens never stop screaming” (p.103), playing gorgeous music on a tattered violin with only two strings. Therefore starts their extraordinary bond and friendship as Lopez instigates writing his newspaper columns concerning Nathaniel, acquiring much concentration from the public. The story presents two corresponding journeys. On the other side, we find out how Nathaniel instigated his life as a gifted musician and his permission to Juilliard. By exploring Nathaniel’s life and demanding to assist him, he finds out concerning himself and human nature. This is a story of sympathy, one that reminds us that there is still decency in this world. Lopez’s approach is appealing and humorous, frequently merging enthusiastic comments concerning life with squashy funniness. His positive reception of music and this unique musician comes through from his writing style. He delights the responsive theme of Schizophrenia with concern and reverence (Lopez).
The Relation of the Homeless to the Society
