This article is important to the study since it focuses on the behavior of adolescents and how it has been affected by social media. Moreover, this article provides statistical data that showcases the levels social media has affected students, their lifestyles, or their learning behavior. According to Rajeswari (2017), among 60 students, 40 of them have a certain impact on lifestyle; furthermore, 50 students out of the 60 were affected according to their learning behavior. Therefore, the article is relevant to the topic since it shows statistical data of media infiltration into children’s lives.

Their article states that social media has significantly infiltrated teens’ and adults’ lives, with estimates placed at six hours for children and nine hours for teens. Furthermore, the article states that hours spent on media by these children are higher than the time they stay in school. This article is useful to my topic since its shows the intensity of social media’s influence on children while comparing it to schoolwork.

But, on the other hand, it is positive since it creates feelings of well-being, provides information for health, and creates new relationships.
