Left-Brain and Right-Brain Test, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 274

Essay

My test results indicate that my brain is perfectly balanced, demonstrating that I am able to use qualities that both left-brained and right-brained individuals draw upon to make decisions. Many of the questions on this assessment asked about organization, and I believe that I fall somewhere in the middle on this scale. I am unlikely to lose things, but I am also unlikely to keep them organized in a clear file. I believe that the results I believe reflect my personality well because my skills and attitudes are very well-balanced across the board. I would not consider myself to be particularly adept at any one thing, but I have the basic skills needed to complete a broad set of activities.

This information could be used to help me achieve academic and career success because it shows me that I am able to learn general skills and knowledge more easily in a variety of subjects compared to others that have a brain side strength. As such, I would benefit from trying to learn many different things so that I am better able to use a combination of these skills to achieve my goals. This is particular helpful for my future career because I will already have many of the skills that employers are looking for when I apply to jobs. Therefore, my academic career will serve as a good starting point to help me determine what I want to do and the skills I want to acquire to achieve my goals. While I am not completely certain about what these goals can be, I am excited by the opportunity to form this decision throughout my education.
