The City of Dull-Ray is technically not required to grant an extension to Adam Macadam. Having said that, however, it is important for the city to recognize their error and also the city officials should have a sense of sympathy and grant Adam an extension for his deadline. This goes to elaborate the ways in which many businesses operate- when they disappoint the costumer, they give something back in return as a sign of apology or empathy. Here, Adam can use the tactic of being tricky and take advantage of it and repeatedly bring up the obstacle that the city has caused him and in return can get the city to change his deadline.

The latter question does not make complete sense unless this is exactly what the question is inquiring: the only thing that will change is that Adam will now start painting twenty municipal basketball courts instead of parking lots and would have an extension on his project which he might not need for this particular one.

This particular law has been enacted, first and foremost, to protect the identities of those who would innocently fall victim to evil acts of being signed up for something that they originally did not. In addition, this respects the privacy of the populace in the U.S. and clearly illustrates that law is lenient and sympathetic on the public and not dependent on corporate industries. Examples of these occur not only in Florida but all over the U.S. where one would be, non-voluntarily, subscribed to something which he/she did not sign up for. This lets the people protect their money, their privacy, and ultimately keeps them away from fraud.

The article that I’ve read has already been set in the history for its unprecedented ruling. On March 2, 2012 Los Angeles Times published an article titled ” California physician assistant wins $168 million in harassment suit” which shocked many lawyers and judges for its record numbers. This lawsuit fits into rule of law since it ultimately proves the existence and its frequent exercise of it. Though the local supervisory board had neglected Ani Chopourian’s (the victim in the lawsuit) appeals and complaints about being harassed, the judge eventually had exercised the law once again and punished those who neglected the Constitution, the Brown Act, and the overall American value system. Every person, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religion has the right to work anywhere he/she pleases.

An article on www.cnn.com titled “Muslim group files lawsuit against feds” on 13 April 2012 brings forth the question of separation of powers. If there is mere separation of powers within the American system then one should not be thoroughly checked simply because of its race or religion. It is clear that these individuals have been stripped of their rights and of their freedom of religion. In addition, out of all the passengers they were selected to get checked and were asked bizarre questions that had nothing to do with the investigation but were satirical and racist.
