Case Study

LDL: Low-density lipoprotein is considered as the water-based bloodstream where transport of different fat molecules is hosted. The higher levels of LDL could usually result to health problems including cardiovascular diseases. This is the reason why LDL is often called as the bad cholesterol.

HDL: High-Density Lipoprotein is often considered as the healthy amount of cholesterol passed on through the bloodstream. Often recognized as the good cholesterol, HDL rates that are lower than usually is considered to possibly cause particular health problems relating to cardiovascular issues.

Triglyceride: This particular substance is noted as a blood lipid that helps in enabling the transference of adipose fat and blood glucose from the liver. Unsaturated compounds of triglyceride are often considered harmless, whereas the highly saturated ones become a source of health problems as defined under the condition by which they affect the fat content of the blood.

Case Study Brief Response

Subject 1: the LDL rate of the patient is specifically noted to be under the good to high-risk rate. This means that lowering the LDL rate further is necessary. On the other hand, his HDL rate is also considered under the high-risk condition while his triglyceride rate is considered to be at a normal range. This then indicates that the patient needs to take proper diet adjustment when it comes to the food choices he makes when he eats.

Subject 2: Both the HDL and LDL rate of the patient is considered at a high level of risk, while the triglyceride rate is within normal range. Considering the age of the patient though, it could be best to consider a better exercise routine for him to make sure that her levels of HDL and LDL be balanced and managed accordingly.

Subject 3: HDL rate is problematic being at high risk and the LDL rate is also at a high risk range. The triglyceride rate range is however normal. Given the age and weight of the patient, good exercise routine along with the adjustment of the diet of the individual is considered an effective source of better health competence.
