Define in your own words and give an example of two types of disagreements?

One type is emotive disagreement which involves the consideration over the emotion of the people involved in the disagreement. In this case, the conflict arises because of the uneven emotional bearing of the people involved in the relationship. Another type of disagreement relies on the imbalance of attitude that people have against each other. No two people are the same, and somehow, it is these differences that makes it hard for them to create relative connection between each other.

Distinguish between truth and validity?

The concept of truth suggests that a particular thought is a proven fact. However, when it comes to validity, the idea is more dependent on the desire to prove the applicability of the fact or the truth that is considered acceptable in many terms.

Space is so vast, that how would we be able to prove there isn’t any life elsewhere? Also, the definition of life is very vague. What is defined as “life” in space? A simple Google search of “the definition of life” led me to thousands of different examples. The Free Dictionary.com states that life is “the property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms and inanimate matter.” Well, what is that property or quality? It can be a variety of things. This shows how vague the word life really is.  I can’t “prove” that life doesn’t exist on other planets. I have no tangible proof that life does exist, but I also have no tangible proof that it doesn’t exist. Life on other planets cannot be dis-proven by assumptions only. Porter (2002) emphasizes that we should avoid using vague terms if we can help it, but some words or phrases “do not lend themselves to exact numerical terms.” We need to be able to understand when exact accuracy is required, and when it is not. 

The need for facts to be valid is necessary. The concept of seeing and believing strongly applies to the thought of proving that a particular fact is justifiably true, especially when it comes imposing the idea of life existing in other planets aside from earth. This is the reason why science continues to find the practical ways of proving of whether or not life does exist on other planets compared to earth.

In an individual paragraph explain what would be adequate justification for the following assertions.

Studying the night before an exam produces better results than getting up early and studying just before the exam

The rate of relaxation between the points of reviewing to the point of taking the exam puts the brain at ease especially setting up to take on the larger challenge of utilizing it again for fast examination. This point of relaxation refreshes the mind off the stress that has been caused by massive review during the past hours. Relatively, it could be understood that the importance of this matter includes the need to make sure that the brain is well-rested especially before the actual test. The rest rejuvenates the brain as does a refresh or restart button in a computer.

Buddy Holly was one of the originators of rock and roll

The different experiences of Buddy Holly in life inspired him to create a considerably unique kind of music that makes it easier for him to express his thoughts to the public. His willingness to share his thoughts to the public was established properly especially that it involves his desire to share with them what he feels and what he thinks about life. His expression was considered unique especially that he offered something new to the thoughts of the public during the time. Rock and roll was not something usual during the time, it was a new type of music that called out attention of the general public.

People who live in warm climates are usually friendlier more generous and hospitable than those in colder climates.

The temperature, which is an external element, affects the overall thinking and personally of people. It could be understood that somehow, people living in warm climates also have elevated blood pressure. This then makes them less calm especially when facing tensed situations. On the other hand, people living in colder places are given the chance to ease out better since their blood pressure is not as elevated as the ones living in warm areas of the world. Clearing the brain off from the heat of the external environment could actually lessen the tension that exists in the body accordingly.

Zero had another paradox besides that of the flying arrow,also designed to prove the impossibility of change.He contended that in order for a person to move from point A to C,he would once again need to go half the distance to D. But before he could travel from A to D he would once again have to go halfway to E.This process would continue for F,G,H and so forth. In fact,before the person took his first step no matter how small he would first need to go half that distance.The conclusion,therefore is that he could never move since it is impossible to traverse an infinity of half distances.

People need to go from one point to another. However, in a way, the concept of going from one point to another actually requires him to go through different extra distances to be able to make sure that the travel is worth it and the value it has would be realized accordingly as desired.
