Media and the Future of Human Society, Research Paper Example

Pages: 1

Words: 393

Research Paper

Media is an important element of innovation that exists in the world today. It could be understood that among all the said innovations, it is also recognized to be among the most influential ones. Most often than not, people get specifically affected by how media presents the different information that specifically affect them personally. This is the reason why it is believed that media would have a great impact on whatever future is waiting for the human society.

One specific future that could embrace the human society would be that of the manner by which people would be highly dependent on media on how they get everything done in their everyday routines thus making it possible for them to do more of their leisure activities. The internet, being the focal point of this discussion, is expected to hold most of the operative conditions of the human society in the future. For instance, people need not get out their homes anymore to pay their bills or to shop for particular home necessities. With a simply click of a button, a person can already buy what he needs from an online shop, pay the bills online and browse for more desired information and complete all these tasks even within just thirty minutes.

This capacity to do more within one’s own comfortable home gives human individuals a better sense of what they could do in their time with greater control of their options as they hold the most common options of chores through the internet. While these effects and expectations are positive, it could be realized that a specific point of negativity could also be expected as such condition of completing chores could also develop obesity among people as they would rather sit and stay at home rather than go out and exercise to simply complete their chores. Nevertheless, these expectations would only be dependent on the attitude of the people and the reaction they have on the innovations that are presented to them through the existence of the internet.
