My RN-BSN Journey, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 290

Essay

Before I began my RN-BSN journey, I wish I had known that success does not come easy. It is difficult to count the many nights that I have had to stay up in order to study for an exam the next day. See, before I embarked upon by RN-BSN journey, I knew that the journey would be a difficult one, but certainly not this difficult. I consider every day a tribulation that life throws at me in order to see if I am able to excel in any given environment. Despite the fact that I know that the road ahead of me is a long and complex one, I am assured of the fact that I will never give up simply because of the fact that something may be hard. In addition, I have now become cognizant of the actuality that I study to be a registered nurse not only because it is a great career, but because through this career, I will be able to make a significant impact on other individuals lives. Sure, it would have been nice to know that I would have to sacrifice a tremendous amount of time into earning my degree as a registered nurse, but now, looking back, I would not trade the experience for anything in the world. The kind of studying that one must undergo in order to obtain my type of degree is a route that is not often taken by many. So why do I constantly put myself in such a position, you might ask? I do what I do for the sake of changing other individuals lives and to have the potential to maximize the amount of lives I can save.
