Essay

The National Commission on Human Rights and Reconciliation of Liberian Government (NCHRRLG) is one of the collaborative group operations. With its legal constitution having to major on the protection of human rights and keeping f peace, it can be used as one of the interventions plans to offer help to the community of Voinjama and a power-sharing strategy (Kaihko, 2021). This is the collaboration between different sectors dealing with peacemaking, each sector specializing in a specific distinct strategy of peacekeeping (Benson, 2021). Additionally, the joint group intervention plan is best for the task since it has members from within the nation who better understand the Voinjama community better.

Given the conflict analysis summary, the information provided can assist in the designing of the intervention that is adopted. However, it does not bring to the table all detail required, hence the need to gather additional important information like the strategies each opponent is using against the other and the strong and weak points of each party (Benson, 2021). Relatively besides that, added information can be extracted from influential personals in the town who are off-grid towards contributing to crimes taking place. Likewise, other research and reports of the same can be acquired. Even abstracts and summaries from other multi-dimensional peacekeeping operations can be used to provide additional information on the supposed way forward.

An opportunity for each party involved in the war to tell their side of the story will lead to attaining a standard ground and knowing the outcome of what each party desires, hence an easy decision that might influence an agreement. Getting to retrieve outcomes that parties involved in a conflict expect is crucial and dangerous, hence careful treading. It is of great significance to maintain the neutrality between the parties and attain their bit of trust in collaboration (Kaihko, 2021).

The root causes of the war and the interests of each party are relatively easy to tackle since they are the hearts of the reason for the conflict. Therefore, understanding the main reason why one group is opposing the other is very beneficial and hence allows for the filling and closing up of the gap aroused by the root causes (Kaihko, 2021). This will prove to be very beneficial, and hence the extracted information from both sides can be evaluated and acted upon towards peacekeeping objectives. Likewise, knowing the root causes and their interests will assist in having a strong background foundation for solving the conflict by addressing issues relevant and inclusive affecting both parties.

The core grievances will not be easy to deal with since it only provides a conceptual part and guidance. This is to the fact that it will only be dominant in one party, seemingly the weaker party; hence partial information will be obtained (Kaihko, 2021). Additionally, as much the grievances can also be looked upon, it will only give a mild foundation and inadequate information on the sole interests and reasons for the conflict. The limitation to the chosen type of intervention to be used is the inadequacy of resources needed and the financial stability that aids the plan.

In Voinjama, working with the community leaders is one way towards the onset of implementing the intervention to achieve peace. This is because they have an influential aspect on changes in their communities and members. Also, getting to interact with the media people will assist since they mostly have the current information from different sources. Lastly, a neutral political can also be involved and assist in implementing interventions to be used.
