The act on Newsies based on Disney’s show of the same title appeals to be one of the best productions shown to the public making it possible for the act to garner several awards. Directed by Jeff Calhoun of the Big River Revival production, the act was specifically directed to give attention o the life of Jack Kelly who is a charismatic newsboy who served as the leader of the group of youngsters he worked with. He is presented to be a young man who desired nothing but a better life for those who like him have realized a distinct hardship in life.
