The North Carolina Coast, the setting of the infamous “The Scarlet Ibis” is an area of striking natural beauty and mesmerizing coasts that are simply to die for. The North Carolina coast is 300 miles of pure barrier island beaches that are packed with exquisite state parks, world-class golf courses and top notch restaurants. For those who enjoy surfing, Cape Fear’s is the palace to be. The wind-swept outer banks offer the mysterious Roanoke, historic lighthouses and the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Fine antebellum homes reside in downtown Wilmington, coupled with thrilling shopping and dining. Fishing, hiking and biking are synonymous with Cape Hatteras national Seashore

The North Carolina beaches are unique and special in the way that they are not only uncrowded and pristine, but also friendly. These three words are corporate in the description of the Crystal Coast, which is North Carolina.

Whatever your desire or fetish for a relaxing and soothing experience that will light up your vacation, the Crystal Coast has it all.

The Emerald Island, the jewel of North Carolina, is situated about a 2 ½-hours’ drive from capital of the state, Raleigh. This coastline strand is not only welcoming, but also a safe haven of solitude and activities. The Emerald Island is by far nothing close to desolate. You can get plenty of traditional beach trinkets such as water toys, t-shirts and toys from the numerous funky shops within the area. All these fit for the family holiday.
