This is a non- modified version of the original treatise that was proposed by Le Corbusier in 1931. The theories of the five points of architecture are delineated. The experiments that were performed by Le Corbusier with regards to the application of the five point architectural perspective are manifest in the book. In addition, Le Corbusier documented the success that he experienced with his architectural perspective at the Weisenhoff Siedlung. This was a home that was constructed in Stuttgart, Germany. Villa Savoye was a conceptual design that is discussed in the book.

In the article, Pacuk reviews the qualities of port cities. Pacuk defines three categories of port cities. In the treatise, the port city influences the development of the surrounding area. Stangel reviews the process of the revitalization of residential and industrial areas in the various parts of Poland. There is an emphasis that is placed in the revitalization of the Gdansk shipyards in the center of the city. Stangel demonstrates that the development of the nation is correlated to its ability to renovate the brownfield areas.
