Three Principles Which Are Important To Follow When Managing Change

Change is the one regular in the business today. Many companies do little in changing how they can manage the business within the internal and the external environment. On the other side, there are a number of companies that have grown to their satisfaction in light of longtime domination of the marketplace, responding with a slow   pace in changing the taste of the clients or ignoring the abilities of their competitors who produce the products at a low cost to attract many customers. But surely, how can the management be confident that an organization is equipped to the need to change. There are twelve principles to ensure this is taking place. But instead, we will look at only the three principles that I believe are the most important to follow when managing change.

The first principle is to recognize the external environment that the company operates from. This means that in the business environment that is rapidly changing every now and then in today’s life, the management has to retain the customers by holding their eyes on what is taking place in the external business or environment. In other terms, it simply implies of changing the political environment that can bring an effect to the climate of the business as well as the new technologies and some discoveries which are scientific.

The second principle to oversee the prosperity of the company is to enlist the passion of people and energy to maintain the strategy and mission of an organization.  By this it does not matter of what the company is manufacturing. The company might be manufacturing the colostomy bags, chemicals or the computer software. What is important here is for the management to work extra hard to generate the bond of emotion between the mission of the company and their members. If the management tries this, they will all people crossing rivers for their goods. The third principle is to change the behavior of the people for the management to succeed in changing the culture of an organization. Many organizations tend to thrash today since the management tries to change the beliefs of the employees and the work schedule instead of changing the behavior of people within the company. Let the management pressurize the new technology of working in a company, have a frequent communication with the entire people and emphasize the expectations of work with the policies that are necessary and the right procedures. Definitely, this will ensure that the company has a new business culture.
