The marketing plan set out in this work represents the marketing plan for a fall football jamboree at a local high school. The football jamboree will involve the participation of six area teams including their cheerleaders and marching bands.

The marketing plan set out in this work represents the marketing plan for a fall football jamboree at a local high school. The football jamboree will involve the participation of six area teams including their cheerleaders and marching bands.

Target Market Analysis

The target market for this sporting event will include six local cities and towns with varying populations. All ages in the general population will be targeted for attendance at this event.

Marketing Strategy

The marketing strategy for this sporting event will include television and media broadcasts and special reports, advertisements in the newspaper and other local printed medium, a raffle for a season pass to local sporting events, and prizes to be given away at half-time during the sporting event. Included in the marketing strategy is the sale of discount tickets prior to the game in each school whose team is involved in the fall football jamboree. In addition, the school with the largest number of individuals attending the game will win a substantial prize.

Methods of Achieving Plan

The marketing plan stated in this work will be achieved through appointing committees to represent marketing in each school and individual city or town. Committee members will receive free passes to the jamboree and special recognition in the game program that will be published and sold at the football jamboree, which will include pictures of the individual teams, each team’s cheerleader squad, and marching band.
