The Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington [change the names] was founded in May 1999[change the date to your specifications]. The Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington[change names again] is identified as a strictly nonprofit establishment that has the full support of the entire Fayette County[change county name] as well as the Cabinet for Health and Human Services Departments. The facility’s mission states that they will provide free healthcare to any person that is uninsured, on unemployment, or people that are students. Over the last decade, the Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington [change names again] has established a link within society and professional relationships all across the county. They have served a multitude of people that are uninsured, students or drawing unemployment benefits free of charge. The Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington [change names again] has opened a second location to another part of the city to attempt to serve the community for free. On August 20th, 2013[change the date] I had the extreme privilege to set down with their medical director, Dr. Ralph Miller and some of this team members and volunteer staff from the church, for a brief 30 minute interview session. We discussed a wide variety of topics including what inspired him and his staff to volunteer for free, what factors brought about the financial criteria to service the community for free, how they go about accepting donations or grant funding, and the groups identified as the underinsured, noninsured, students and the people that are receiving their unemployment benefits as well as the financial challenges that he and the board may face in their public relations image.
A strategy to analyze a Public Relations Campaign and other useful Marketing Techniques:
There has always been a vast difference between public relations and marketing. This is just a given. In today’s business markets, a medical director or other HR official of any large corporation could integrate both of these useful marketing tools to provide their products or other services into their community. The distribution and promotion of a product or other service offered could be implemented using a marketing segment that may be used to target a certain group in the community. A prime example could be The Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington [change the names] to market their free services and in turn the pharmaceutical corporations may choose to help the free clinics by giving them free samples of insulin, other pill medications, and aspirin or Tylenol. Federal and State governmental officials may choose to offer monetary assistance by giving the free clinics grant funding or other funding that may be necessary to keep the free clinics open to the public. Studying the demographics and psychographics may help simplify and tailor a system that could be useful to a public relations division so that they may target certain individuals or groups that they want to receive their message. Today’s society has started to become quite savvy when it comes to doing business with one another. The people know what they want and where to find it at the lowest price range and with the economic recession, people actually have to be this way. Trust my advice as I tell you that people are not going to pay for something, if in fact, they can get it free somewhere. The economy is just simply too bad. Society as a whole, are looking for a unique system that truly understands their wants and needs. These people want individuals and/or companies that will cater to them and in turn, they actually connect with them emotionally. This is a very unique way to bond with a community or other individuals and business groups.
The Common Differences with Public Relations and a good Marketing Strategy:
Public Relations and Marketing Strategies are very different field disciplines. It is very crucial that a person have a good visual understanding of the two terms and they also need to know the distinction between both of the business concept disciplines. A public relations field may involve good relationships with the public at large throughout a community by communicating through a wide variety of communication tools. This could be word of mouth of friends talking to other friends, flyers being put up by volunteers in the community or having some business cards available in other business establishments to bring in some of the business. A person must always remember to talk to and never at another person when they are trying to conduct business with other people. This public relations strategy will always get an individual further in life. On the other hand, Marketing is a very different business concept or discipline. When the community, partners, clients, and even customers have some type of offering given to them in exchange for something valuable from an institution, business owner, or other creative process, this clearly would define the skill known as marketing. Strategic management could be a set of public relations function keys that could add value to an institution by managing the firm’s valuable reputations in the public eye. Sales and revenues are always the primary goals with the marketing world. The positive display of a corporation’s image in their community defines the goal of public relations. If these disciplined business principles work together, a business could achieve just about anything that they set their mind to do. Everyone, at some time in their lives, has needed a helping hand. This is why the Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington deserves the limelight as I write this public relations paper. God and his angels always attempt to reach out to the community and let their little lights shine! This always brings a positive outlook for the church and the people in their community. At the end of the day, all of the volunteers always feel good about what they have done for the people that come in to see them and this positive outlook shines no matter how hard their day was and not once have they ever complained. The Lexington Rescue Mission and the Mission of Lexington are now reaching out to the community once more by recruiting a dentist to work some in the evening to help improve the community’s overall oral health. This is just one more thing that the community will have to smile about!
