Information security is defined as the process of preserving data for all information in paper and electronic format in order to maintain continuity and efficiency in any kind of business. The electronic record management systems address various issues concerning to security like protecting confidentiality by protecting data from unauthorized access and disclosure to unknown users. Further, It maintains integrity by safeguarding authenticity, complete accuracy and protection of methods and information only to authorized users (Maguire, 2005)
The services provided by credit report companies like Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion include data delivery to the companies on order, providing insight and analytical reports on any company or person of investigation, maintenance of enormous credit databases in order to minimize limit loss and decrease risk of credit through automated debt collection schemes and procedures from carious clients. Further, they operate various industry specific services like tools and service protection to improve economy and prevent fraud (Avery et al., 2004).

Although Information technology is defined as Meta technology and is ubiquitous in nature with lot of deterministic effect on society, it even poses some delirious social effects which is probabilistic in nature. The most important social effects caused due to over use of information technology is unskilled jobs which is caused due to over dependency on shortcuts which involve less work to manual skill. It can effective be reduced by restriction to Information technology and more enhanced testing system during recruitment (Brown et al., 2012)

Protecting the United states of America against terrorist attack is one of the security attempt however, in this attempt, non privacy of individual data is an issue which is greatly disappointing their citizens. In the name of protection, most of the personal data is being forced in to the technological devices in order to attain maximum information of individuals. In certain circumstances, citizens feel it as lots of hassle to even acquire basic necessities of life including house rental, purchase of goods and registering to a local entertainment club.

Privacy policy is legal entity which protects individual information with occasional disclosure depending upon necessity. Personal information ranges from characteristics of identification till financial, medical and travel details. Privacy policy as a form of law is definite and depends on the place with its characteristics attributed to autonomy and local law. The difference in privacy law in USA and Europe is due to difference in legislation. In Europe the legislation pertains both the public and private sectors whereas it is only dependant on private sector in USA. The dependency determines the disclosure and confidentiality of the data.

A copyright is legal entity which stops anyone from copying or using software without obtaining prior permissions to use it wherever needed. The copy rights are not valid if someone creates their own software from the scratch as there is only application of theoretical basics without copying. On the other hand, a potent is a legal entity which protects an idea which means there are restrictions to use the idea even to produce software (Barlow and John Perry, 1994)
