T-Mobile

• The problem with T-Mobile is they will tell you what you want hear, but you will never figure out their hidden fees.
• T-Mobile charges $200.00 for cancellation of a contract, regardless if you don’t approve of their services.

“You may be unable to switch to some plans. Additional requirements may apply to business customers; Premier and other business/association discounts may not be available (T-Mobile USA, Inc. 2011).”

• Every bill the individual is charged $30+ tax for internet service, even if the person has unlimited service.

Also, the “unlimited” internet service isnt actually unlimited.  In fact, the internet service only allows up to 2GB of internet before it begins to slow down.  The only way to avoid the slow speed of your internet service is to buy more…buy more unlimited internet service? Doesn’t make sense to me!

• If the bill isn’t pay on time, the lines automatically get charged $20 PER line…which can cause a significant increase to the individual’s bill
• In the “Unlimited” Data plans and/or family plans, the actual data package isn’t unlimited, though it appears to be unlimited for the customer – which displays false advertisements

“For unlimited data plans, full speeds available up to monthly data allotment; after allotment used, speeds slowed to up to 2G speeds for remainder of billing cycle. For 200MB plan, overage of $0.10/MB charged to postpaid customers after monthly data allotment is used; FlexPay customers may not exceed 200MB allotment (T-Mobile USA, Inc. 2011).”

• The customer service is extremely rude and unhelpful

“Usually companies upgrade a customer’s device to make sure it works for them on their network but never in 9 years of dealing with phone companies have I seen a company downgrade a customer’s device when I paid for a higher device (Mobility Digest).”
