Description of the topic: This paper will look at sports participation in youth, scholastic, and professional sports. It will cover the history of sports participation, the reason we participate in sports, the affects the media has on sports participation, and different behaviors involved with sports participation. Sports participation among racial and ethnic minorities regarding these areas will be explored; as well the effect technology has had on how we participate in sports.
