Write about the following topic: Think of the standard ethical principles — truth-telling, generosity, non-malfeasance (this means: do no harm), do not insult, fulfill your promises, etc. Based on what you learned from chapter 2, we know that ethical theories ground, or explain, or provide a theoretical explanation for principles. One very important question we will continue to ask throughout this semester is: do the theories we are looking at do a good job of accounting for these principles? To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Introduction
The need to stick to what is real and what is factual specifically accounts for the need of determining the course of development that an organization is to take. What constitutes good management is the ways by which the administrators specifically determine the value of facts and truthfulness as part of the general thinking of the people involved in the organization. Improving the way they think and the way they consider their responsibility over being truthful is very important in establishing the basic foundation of truthfulness among the members of the business. Only through this way would the administrators be able to specifically determine the course of integrity that would guard the way that they are able complete their tasks accordingly towards themselves and their stakeholders in the market and in the industry.
Discussion
Practically, organizations who make sure that they follow the concept of valuable determination of keeping up with the integral core of moral values that identify well with the business’ general operations are the ones that remain morally established even in the middle of business issues specifically relating to moral matters that likely become the turning point of every business organization. Considerably, only through this guided management would theories of factual thinking and factual operations be given the chance to be applied in actual situations that would establish the strength of the organization and that of its members in facing situations that the organization faces through different times and tides of its development (Coffee, 1981).
What makes every organization specifically strong is that of its capacity to become more effective in determining the positive and negative values of the activities that they consider especially in relation to the development that they hope to take into account. The moral values they depend upon denote the fact that establishes the whole backbone of the business especially in providing the best options for its internal and external stakeholders (Coffee, 1981). Determining the path of development that an organization hopes to take into account specifically depends upon the willingness of the administrators to seek through different aspects and options of operation that make a distinct presentation on how theories of factual thinking actual work for business organizations.
Conclusion
Even though it is deemed that the field of business is a scrupulous operation and is often dependent on scrupulous actions, it could be noted that there are still those business entities that try their best to become strongly dependent on facts and specifically founded upon moral values that sets them apart from others in the market who are willing enough to become able to earn as much even at the point of setting their values aside (Coleman, 1987). This fact of cases relating to business organizations and how they operate in the market specifically point out that theories of truth and good morals could be applicable to every business organization existing in the market at present. Its effectiveness and continuity in the way the organization operates is however dependent on the willingness and determination of the administrators to remain strongly related into the aspect of remaining true while earning reasonably from their activities and works.
