The AFFRIMA Ceremony, Essay Example

Essay

The aim of this paper is to describe the performance I myself attended a few days ago, with the scope of practicing the analytical and interpretative capabilities in writing. A few days ago, in Dallas, the AFFRIMA Ceremony took place, an event in which the most beloved artists are being awarded special distinctions, in accordance with their performances over the course of the year. The event took place at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters in Dallas and was, by far, one of the most memorable galas there are, throughout the world, not only because of the fact that the guest list was composed of celebrities held in high regard, but also because the organizers clearly had already organized a number of events of such dimensions.

The organizers paid a great deal of interest towards putting together an avenue perfect in what lines, colors and forms are concerned. Not only was the stage decorated beautifully, but also the geometry of the objects on it was meticulously thought upon, resulting into a venue worth admiring. On the other hand, the event was highly balanced, however significant the final moments were. Few would have observed how the tension was gathered towards the focal area. This can only mean that the artists place greater importance on structure than on aesthetics.

In conclusion, such events offer guests a peak into the world difficult to enter. With the mind opened, significant insights could be obtained, if interested. And I refer to the information a student like me could get from attending such an event. The experience can be eye-opening.
