The Ideals of Colonization and Its Impact on the Society’s Development, Essay Example

Colonization is basically described as the process by which the modern society got its foundation of nations being correlated to one another due to both the alliances and the conflicts that were formed in the pages of human history.  Relatively, the desire behind this movement is to create a sense of powerful dictation over others. Leaders from different nations around the globe embraced such a goal during the war years likely known as the medieval era. The need to realize power over others was an essential requirement for countries to become recognized as practically strong and worthy of respect. This is the reason why leaders intended to push themselves and their armies to the limit to make sure that they are able to colonize smaller nations who seem to cannot stand for themselves because of having smaller armies. The larger the armies, the stronger the countries are hence the stronger their reputation is when it comes to being recognized in the field of international relations.

When it comes to the meeting of the Native Americans and the Europeans in the 20^th century, the role of colonization was not simply to overpower the smaller group but to share the culture of Europe within the territories of America. This included the culture of slavery among the black race, which largely created conflicts in the American society for years. Another matter to consider about this historical occurrence is the fact that as the Europeans conquered the Native Americans, the identity of the smaller nation became harder to distinguish as it has been largely influenced by what the European conquerors brought into the region. Noting all these facts about the past, it is then clear that colonization , although it aims to create a condition of power-separation among nations, instituted more than that and contributed further to how modern culture among several countries developed. The sharing of culture between nations has made so much impact on how societies developed into their condition today.
