The Impact of Socioeconomic and Sociopolitical Factors, Research Paper Example

Pages: 1

Research Paper

Differentiate socioeconomic versus sociopolitical factors that impact healthcare finance and have either a positive or negative impact on a selected healthcare stakeholder (patient, family, nurse, or other identified stakeholder). Phrase your response from a nursing perspective derived from your practice experience.

For nurses serving as maternity leaders, the need to seek particular elements especially connected to socioeconomic matters is a special requirement to give attention to. Practically, socioeconomic elements related to this field of medical profession includes the availability of funding that is dedicated to supporting maternal needs of women giving birth to infants (Bond, et al, 1994). The budget dedicated to this medical function supports the condition by which birthing mothers located in more remote areas are served even during the point of pre-delivery [when the mother are still expected to undergo regular checkups]. Making these medical assistant systems available for everyone [especially for the less fortunate members of the community] is an essential part of the responsibility of maternity leaders; which could be further supported through the availability of particular emergency funding resources.

On the other hand, sociopolitical factors usually included in the process of supporting the needs of birthing mothers include the support coming from the government apart from the financial factors that are designed to create a more defined distinction on how administrational alliances are able to provide ease to the healthcare needs of the public, thus making a connection between private institutions and public resources (Bond, et al, 1994). The correlative use of the socioeconomic and sociopolitical factors to increase the competence of healthcare systems to support the needs of the public is one that gives practical attention to the concept of growth that even nurses serving as maternity leaders are basically supporting (Tulenko, et al, 1999). Practically, a these aspects would provide a better source of competence, one that determines the whole factor of public support that is needed in order to increase the level of dependency that these healthcare operations are expected to have.
