The N. F. L International Series, Case Study Example

Pages: 1

Words: 307

Case Study

The current strategy adopted by N. F. L in entry into the global market is one where they export real games abroad. The strategy changed from exporting spinoff games abroad since this later approach did not yield any success. The N. F. L made these changes in order to improve the audience base in the global market.

The environmental challenges faced by the N. F. L are the effect of environmental changes on its events and the impact of such changes in the environment. The challenge here is scheduling the events such that the outcomes of such events do not affect by environmental changes. The other challenge is gauging the effectiveness of environmental initiatives on the outcomes of its events.

The strategy adopted by N. F. L to promote American football abroad is to export the game s overseas. The scheme dubbed the N. F. L international series involves the exportation of the real N. F. L games compared to the earlier scheme of exporting play offs. The real games are more appealing to the international audience compare to the spinoffs. The program allows the players, and the cheerleader’s time to mingle with the audience. Another milestone is the airing of the game on B. B. C increasing the viewer base of the game. The aim of the Europa was to develop the league while the global market mix is to increase awareness of the game internationally. The Europa program aimed at Europe only while the international series covers al areas.

The pursuit of global expansion is favorable in this case because it will increase the N. F. L base. In order to gain more success, it is necessary to expand the N. F. L internationally. The preference to expand internationally if adopted will tend to increase the leagues revenue as more audience becomes interested in the game than before.
